My educational background includes a Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Social Work. I take a very trauma-informed approach that looks at all facets of your life, and then I work with you to create goals moving forward. What we have experienced in life can challenge us in adulthood, and having someone to listen empathetically can make all the difference towards change.
I have been working as social worker for over the past ten years. I have experience working with high risk populations, domestic violence, family trauma, anxiety, depression, and involvement with Children Services. My eclectic skills focus on Solution-focused, Narrative therapy, Cognitive Behavior therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy and many others. I have background with men women, children, families, LBGQ2IAS+, racism, poverty and trauma. Let's talk about your goals and what I can do to support you.

I am a Master of Counselling student at City University. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick.
Navigating grief and attending counselling helped me understand the importance of feeling heard. I realized how beneficial and powerful counselling can be at any and all stages of life, and I knew I wanted to provide that space for others.
I bring authenticity and empathy to the counselling room, and I hope that by conveying this to you, you, too, can find space with me where you can be your authentic self. I consider myself approachable, nonjudgmental, down-to-earth, direct, yet supportive.
am privileged to be trusted with your story and share in your journey.

I am a Master's student in Counselling at City University of Seattle. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta.
First of all, I want to thank you for taking this first step in coming to therapy. I know it can be difficult but I truly admire your courage in overcoming this challenge. I'm confident you'll continue to overcome many more in the future. As a master's student in counselling, I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and encouraging space where my clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges. Growing up in a BIPOC community, I experienced firsthand the difficulty of not always having a space to share my experiences. Because of that, I strive to be a source of support where all my clients can feel comfortable, seen, and heard. During our sessions, I will take an empathetic, client-centred approach to build a strong therapeutic relationship while providing interventions that best meet your unique needs. Thank you for trusting me and I hope we can work together to support you the best way possible.
